I just want to provide you with some insight into my background and experience, just like your attorney/accountant/physician, it is important that you have a firm idea of the qualifications of your realtor. Not all real estate agents are THE SAME

By the age of 4, my father had me fitted with my own tool belt and I was swinging a hammer. I grew up building decks and barns and renovating homes. By the time I was in high school, I was designing my own homes in drafting class. I went on to obtain my associates degree in architectural engineering from Wentworth Institute of Technology which gave me detailed insight into not just the structural elements and systems of a home. I transferred to Northeastern University to pursue my Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering, focusing on land and site development. My first job after college was working with builders and developers to design residential subdivisions and site plans and obtain town approvals from Planning Boards, Conservation Commissions and Zoning Boards…..a very painful process!

I find that working directly with buyers and sellers is extremely rewarding. I truly enjoy helping and educating consumers on the process and facets of what goes into making a house a home. Being able to explain exactly how a septic system functions or how to properly ventilate a roof so that ice dams are prevented.

In my 33 years of working in the real estate industry, I have found that the sale or purchase of real estate typically revolves around a transition in life, be it a new job, marriage or divorce, or an expanding family. And although it is a business transaction, there is a large emotional component as well. You are not just buying or selling a structure, it is a change in lifestyle. Every transaction has a little bit of turbulence and perhaps the biggest part of my job is facilitating it in a way that makes the 'flight' as smooth as possible.

Finally, I want to give a little bit of insight into my business philosophy. I don't run around chasing commissions, I make a commitment to my clients to help them achieve their goals no matter how long it takes. I want you to be SO thrilled with the service that I provided that you refer all your friends and family to me, that is the best way to build a business.
